that was a journey that leads to the sun really but it was raining so much that day.
I phoned my friend Luis, who also traveled from Brazil to see new order for the first time live like me,and i told him to wait for me at finsbury park tube station at 11 o´clock.
before i leave brazil i wrote to my german friend daniel wengorz to meet him at trafalgar square too.
i met danny and his friend bernd first and went to buy new order cds.when we finished to buy the cds it was 12 o´clock.i said : " oh shit i forgot to meet luis!"
so we rushed to go to the tube station.
when we arrived there luis had gone.
so we decided to have some beer just before the concert.danny met 2 friends he knew from the other site(noonl).And when we arrived at the pub the fucking luis was there with 3 more brazilians friends.So we joined the two gangs and drank a lot there.it was still raining and we needed to buy a raincoat.
i missed the bunnymen concert.but i was right in front of the stage when new order came in.i took a lot of pictures of them.
it was a wonderful gig and barney talked with me just before she´s lost control."you that stare on the front,how do you we´re going to play this?"
after the concert i felt so sad cause it will be very hard to see them again but it was the most exciting expirience i had in my life.i hope they will tour in brazil someday again.
and at the next day i went to macclesfield to meet ian´s grave stone and his house at barton street but it´s another story.

The pub you mention was called "Worlds End" Julio....yes it was a great craic, good to meet up with the Brazilian contingent, as well as a few people from America, Holland and France!
Have you heard from Luis since Finsbury? I was supposed to phone him the next day, but I lost his number!!
As fer the concert itself, fantastic, from what I can remember, the rain stopped just before the band came on (which was great, cos we stayed in the pub till the Order came on) usual set-list, but the banter was good, and yet again, made several new pals.
Highlights would be Brutal, Digital, SLC and YSF.

Luis vanished after the concert and i hadn´t heard about him since that night.
A brazilian friend of mine told me that he is involved with the brazil´s election for president and doesn´t have enough time to dedicate to his beloved New Order now.Poor man : )
Yeah the pub was great !
I drank a lot there,i just couldn´t control myself.
My germans friends were sick for beer.
I almost entered drunk in the park.

I've met the German Order a few times. Ran into Danny at the Robbie Williams gig in Cologne last summer. He recognised me from a friend's website that had US tour pics on. He actually got thrown out at said gig for trying to jump the barriers!

Then Danny and Bernard came over for the Brixton dates, then Finsbree, and of course I met both of them for the German festivals too.

Just bought the DVD up here in canada-- its good to see New Order having fun while playing music. It's good to watch a band that plays and not put up theatrical shit like U2 or other bands that do and just plays the songs. Great hearing Joy Division songs as well. Brings back plenty. Are there any songs not included in the DVD? And where was Gillian?

Gillian isn´t playing live with the band anymore cause his child was having serious health problems.I agree with you when talked about the bastards from U2,and this why I love New Order.Simplicity and beauty.In european dvd is missing just one song,world in motion.If you bought the canadian,it´s missing more songs.I think.
