*************************************************What a crap show! Ha! Ha!
3,336 days since they last played in Ireland and this
is what we get...

Here goes...

1. Crystal
2. Transmission (with John Fruscante)
3. Regret
4. 60 miles an hour (attempt 1!)
5. 60 miles an hour (attempt 2! Ha! Ha!)
6. Your Silent Face
7. Atmosphere
8. At Close Range
9. She's Lost Control
10. Temptation
11. Bizarre Love Triangle
12. Love Will Tear Us Apart
13. Blue Monday

Could be wrong about the order of Temp and BLT - the
ink rubbed off me hand!

So, why crap? Just kiddin'
Well, if you hadn't seen them before like some of my
mates, you might think they were briliant - but there
some great throwbacks to the old days - in between
Regret and 60 mph they had to tune up their guitars!
Haven't seen that for a while... Then a big disaster
when they completely screwed up the start of 60 mph
and had to stop and start again - briliant - I thought
we'd seen the last of these little gems of NO folklore
but no - they were all over the place!

To be honest I'd blame the awful sound system - even
the Chili Peppers were struggling with it. I really
don't think NO could hear themselves. The sound
improved to "adequate" towards the end.

Then there was Hooky picking fights with the front row
(RHCP fans naturally) "Go home and ask your Mum and
Dad who you (we?) are. You fat c**t!"

Other snippets from Barney included:
"My assistant guitarist" - Phil
"Get your f**kin life together Phil"
"We played in Germany the other day, and I'm not
kiddin' - it f**kin' pissed" (So A.J. was right!)
"This is called 'Blau Montag' - I hope you enjoy it
'cos' we're f**kin sick of it!" (followed by giggles).

That kinda puts a new slant on all the "We'd love to
hear BM live or any other NO songs for that matter"
shite that people have been talking.

Anyway, all told, hardly a classic!
Temptation, LWTUA and 60 mph f**k-up were
highlights...

If you were there you know what I mean.
If you weren't then you wish you were.

P.S. How about a proper Irish gig?
